NATIONAL CUPCAKE DAY!

Happy Monday Everyone! Hope u all had a stunning day...This week is going to be a fun but challenging week for me..On Saturday i will be taking party in the National Cupcake Day for children with Cancer! We have to create and bake 50 Cupcakes...So i have been brainstorming and coming up with fun theme's and ways to decorate my cupcakes...

We are in the processes of decorating our apartment, and building  a kitchen...and i have been glued to Pinterest looking for inspiration and decorating tips,  i have opted for a yellow and grey look, and i must say i place is looking awesome! cant wait to see the end result! :)....

Our Wedding in Wonderland

Last Month I took that long awaited walk down the isle, it was a moment in my life i will never foget :) And what a magical day it was.I knew it was gna be anything but ordinary as i had chosen quite a unique theme " Alice in Wonderland " We had some much fun doing some of the decoration ourselves and many days were spent preparing for this Wonderful occasion....From an enchanting cermony in the garden, to a dance around the clock reception, alot of fun was had by all who attended our Special day! : ) <3

Well Christmas 2011 is officially over! I hope everyone had a wonderful festive season, Mine was spent celebrating with family! I have already started thinking bout what the new year holds, this is the time that we normally sit back and reflect on the last year, and think bout all the exciting things that 2012 holds! :) I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year! :)

Well, its officially less than 5 months till we get married. I cant believe how quickly the time has gone, it seems like just yesterday we got engaged! Last week Sunday, we had our long-awaited engagment shoot. We had so much fun doing this shoot and i absolutely  loved the theme! :)....here is just a sneak preview.....:)

" Hitched "

This past weekend a friend of mine got hitched! :) We spent the friday night at a guest house next to the venue Vredenheim! What a great evening it was,We went for dinner at the Restaurant there! then we got back to the guest house and just chilled out, and were talking nonsense..We Sat and watched bridal plasty and Extreme Makeovers-Home Edition we spent the entire evening laughing and almost crying! ( haha)..I did her make up for her, so we practiced that the night before too! :)...

On Saturday we woke up very early to be at a hair appointment in Stellenbosh!Diana and Dewald (Friend and my fiance)joined us. Then after getting our hair done we went back to the guesthouse to beautify ourselves even more! What fun!! :)Later we were joined by other friends of ours!
At 3:30pm we started getting dressed up!And we were just intime to walk down the isle at 4:30pm! She made an absoloutly breathtaking bride!I was so honoured to be apart of her special day!

After the cermemony,we had photo's taken, then were taken to a wonderful reception in the main hall!I was very nervous as i was asked to say a speech!:) im not a fan of speaking in public, but luckily for me it went off without a hitch!...Then other speeches were made, by the best man, and bride and groom! :)..atleast i wasnt alone!...Then we all sat and were served starters, Starters was Salmon ( Which i have to admit was not my favourite) but i loved the garlic bread :)..then Main was a buffet! That went down very well, as a buffet normally does..always a great choice for a wedding!..Then Came the cutting of the cake and dessert, Which was amazing, so amazing and rich i struggled to finish it, It was a really Chocolaty rich pudding! but Ever So DELIOUS!! Then we danced the rest of the night away! And after feeling very satisfied, made the long trek back to cape town! All in all, it was a wonderful evening and weekend!

So happy for my friends Chantall and Adam, u guys are great! x Wishing u guys many, many years of happiness!!
